TRITRON

Marking, Identification and Labeling

In addition to a multitude of printing inks for continuous inkjet (CIJ), Tritron offers a series of printing inks for drop on demand (DOD) applications.

The printing inks for drop on demand (DOD) applications are UV curing and pigmented without exception. All Photon ink series for the marking, identification and label industry are provided as CMYK process colors, expanded by corresponding light shades, as well as spot colors.

Both HD Photon inks and V Photon inks cure when irradiated with mercury arc and microwave discharge lamps. In addition, V Photon inks also cure by means of intense UV-LED light sources (Smart Cure). Both series offer inks with different wetting properties, identified by type numbers 23 and 32 respectively.

Smart Cure LC Black has been developed for marking, identification and labeling of semi-porous and non-porous media utilizing Hewlett Packard® (HP) thermal inkjet (TIJ) 2.5 technology. LC Black cures when irradiated with conventional UV light sources (gas discharge lamps) as well as UV-LED light sources.
